It was close to six years ago I had a roommate named Tyrice. I recall him editing this video on my computer at the time. I’d get home from work and see it still up on the screen. I really didn’t find it all that funny and didn’t think anyone would, and I told him that. Now it has 5.3 million views on YouTube, and has spawned numerous video responses done in a similar fashion. Clearly, I was wrong, and every time I see this video I’m reminded of how wrong I was. Sure, it’s no Chocolate Rain, but still… over 5 million views. I feel like that record executive who originally turned down The Beatles and said they had nothing to offer. Ironically, I do see the humor in it now.
